We offer two flexible ways to complete the SMSTS course in Norwich:

Assessment & Certification
To achieve certification, delegates must complete an exam-based assessment, which includes multiple-choice questions and real-world case study scenarios. A minimum pass mark of 80% is required to qualify.
Our Norwich SMSTS training has a 98% pass rate, and should a delegate not pass but meet the resit threshold, they will be eligible for a free same-day retake.
Upon successful completion, candidates receive a CITB SMSTS certificate, valid for five years.
Renewing Your SMSTS Certification
The SMSTS certificate remains valid for five years, after which delegates must complete an SMSTS refresher course before expiry. If the qualification lapses, the full five-day course must be retaken.
Course Fees & Funding Support
The SMSTS course in Norwich is priced at £450 + VAT. CITB-registered employers may be eligible for CITB grants to assist with course fees. Additionally, some Norwich-based construction companies offer financial support for employees undertaking safety training.
